Saw Blade Wandering?
I’ve been working on some projects around the house this last week, cutting lots of boards, 90% Pressboard and the rest plywood.
I’m using a 7 1/4” Craftsman circular saw, and replaced the blade just before starting.
When I am cutting out a part, say over 24” I start to get a large amount of blade wander, it actually takes a serious amount of muscle to keep it following the line.
I’m just using an Irwin 24 Tooth blade which seems to still be sharp.
Any suggestions?
check to make sure the table is square to the blade and not bent. You may have warped the blade and it gets worse as it heats up
